Grove House
Grove House in St Albans, leads the way in supporting local people, their families and friends, whose lives are affected by cancer or a life-threatening illness in the Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and Harpenden areas.  We believe everyone who needs it has the right to access specialist care in order to have the best possible quality of life. We help alleviate symptoms like pain, or some of the feelings of helplessness and vulnerability that come with life-threatening illness.  The services we offer help patients right from the time of diagnosis (or even pre-diagnosis) through to the end-stage of illness, providing respite, therapies and counselling.  We help patients to live as full a life as possible, where they want to be - at home.

For their families and friends we offer support at a time when they can feel overwhelmed and anxious about their responsibilities to their loved ones.  We recognise that everyone has different needs so we adapt our range of high quality services to work proactively with patients, families and other healthcare professionals to give care and support both at Grove House and in the patient’s own home.
