Who We Are
'Suffering is only intolerable when nobody cares'
Dame Cicely Saunders founder of The Hospice movement
Hospices offer free care and support to people in our community with life threatening and terminal illness. These hospices have to raise money for this care primarily from their own fund raising initiatives. Hospice society lotteries, of which The Hospice Lottery Partnership is one, generate approximately £42 million in income per year towards the total funding of £500 million needed. They also give 50p to 60p back of every pound raised directly to the hospice.

We are dedicated to providing a secure and predictable additional income to our partner hospices freeing up their fundraising teams to focus on their total funding requirement. We do this by operating a weekly draw which takes place every Friday, ‘It only costs £1 a week to enter and there are 85 cash prizes to be won. There’s a top prize of £1,000, a second prize of £200, 3 prizes of £100, 30 prizes of £20 and 50 prizes of £10. That’s a total of £2,600 to be won every week.’
We also have an annual SUPERDRAW, which took place on 30th September at The Hospice of ST Francis in Northwood and raised an astounding £96,000. 'The nations favourite French Chef', Jean-Christophe Novelli was there to draw the winning tickets.
By playing The Hospice Lottery you are not only supporting the vital work of your local hospice but you could win a cash prize too!
